what is standard server?
Standard Server is the core of Power Credit's family of products. The Power Credit Standard Server is payment middleware, and acts as intermediary between a merchant applications and payment card issuers. By using Power Credit, the payment processing logic is "offloaded" from merchant applications and moved into our middleware program.
how does it work?
Application programs communicate with Power Credit by exchanging payment data messages with the Power Credit Standard Server. Any program that can establish a TCP connection, read and write to disk, or run an ActiveX component, can communicate easily with Power Credit.
authorization process
Application programs initiate authorization requests over a computer network. The transaction information supplied with each request is routed by Power Credit to Payment Processors for approval. Approved transactions are returned to the Application programs in real-time for order processing and disposition.

settlement process
Settlement is the process of sending approved transactions to Payment Processors for payment. The day's transactions are transmitted in batch files with approval codes. Merchants typically settle transactions on a daily basis after business hours, however Power Credit lets you specify any time for settlement. The end result is that funds are deposited into the merchant's checking account, typically within 24-48 hours.
