CONNECTIVITY CHOICES

Dial IP maintains a persistent dial-up connection to Vital using an asynchronous modem. Implemented using Windows Dialup Networking, this is the closest replacement for POS-port.

IP-over-Frame is a "lease line" connection, providing the fastest response times and greatest reliability. This is best for high volumes and lowest rates.

Eliminates POS-port timeouts! Connectivity problems caused by POS-port's synchronous protocol are eliminated by using these new methods.

what is i-net switch?

i-NET Switch is the replacement for TSYS Acquiring Solutions's POS-port, which will no longer support new Visa requirements. Despite its long record of success with POS-port, TSYS Acquiring Solutions has chosen to stop enhancing this product. Power Credit functions formerly provided by POS-port are now implemented by our i-NET Switch.

how does it work?

Power Credit i-NET Switch makes use of newer and more reliable connection methods resulting in better connectivity to the payment processor. Below are two ways to connect with Vital Processing.

Power Credit i-NET Switch lets you keep running on POS-port while making the transition to other connection methods. Easy migration "takes the pressure off" by allowing concurrent processing while phasing in new connections.
